2011...Already!!

I can't believe another year has come and gone, but here we are 2011!! The boys are getting bigger and my baby doesn't look like a baby anymore!!

Mathew is in 5th grade and doing good, he is finally in the same class as his best friend Zach. He is still in astronomy club. He didn't play soccer in the fall, but we will see what spring brings!!

Justin did play soccer and I believe his team went undefeated. He is also doing scouts & doing great in school.

Jake is loving preschool and doing great, I also thinks he can't wait till he rides the bus next year like his brothers. He also played soccer in the fall and his team also went undefeated.

So another year and another try at doing this blogging thing, one of many things I'm trying to do this year.

Something new

When your 2yr old is being quiet, you should check up on them sooner then later!!

Today is Jake's 3rd birthday, wow how time flies.

Playgroup

Today Jake & I went to meet up with some ladies and their kids and possibly join a playgroup. The poor kid has no interaction with anyone his own age, just his brothers and well most times they don't want to play with him. So we met at Hoss's for lunch, he sat at the table and smiled at everyone. Was not talking much, just being shy. He did keep looking at a little girl that was sitting beside him. It was nice and I think good for both of us to get out and make some new friends.

Also Jake turns 3 tomorrow so that means he moves up and will no longer have Devani as his speech therapist. She came today for the last day and he wasn't very cooperative, but eventually did play a little with her. She also brought him a birthday present. He didn't open it until after lunch, but it was something with Cars on it and he loved it. I'm so thankful for Devani for what she has done for both of my boys.

Recap of the last week

Monday-Jake had speech, doing better, saying more words. I worked at night.

Tuesday-Nothing exciting. Went to TGI Fridays for dinner and only spent $10.02, love that price for 5 people.

Wednesday-Nothing. Tom had umpire school.

Thursday-Jake had speech and I worked.

Friday-Blue & Gold Banquet, Mathew didn't receive any awards but he was recognized for all his accomplishments and will be moving up to Webelos I.

Saturday-Tried to get my nails done, no time. Went to Moms house for a meeting. The boys spent the day with cousin Scott & Mark. Came home and took the family to Kings, spent almost as much as we did at Fridays, but no alcohol, still trying to figure that one out. Tom went out for the night, so I just staid home with the boys and vegged.

Sunday-Finished painting the boys room, one step closer to being done. Worked in the evening.

Wow my life is exciting, don't you wish yours could be too.

10 Nights

That is how many nights that Jake has gone to bed without his binky. The binky is lost somewhere in this house and we can't seem to find it, so he has been going to bed without it. Some nights have been better then others. He still asks for it every now and again, but I think its getting better. Lets hope Jake is not the one to find him.

Super Bowl Sunday

The Steelers are at the Super Bowl and how excited is Pittsburgh today! We are hoping for a 6th rings. Of course I won't get the luxury of watching the game at home, no I will be at work, with about 1000 other people. The boys are all excited, here is a picture taken a couple weeks ago, I wish I could download a more recent one, but this will have to do.
